Language: Spanish
The national language of Argentina is Spanish. Spanish is the language most commonly after Argentina was colonized by Spain. There are over 40 different languages spoken in Argentina; however, Spanish is the most accepted language. Other languages include; English, Portuguese, Italian, French, and German.
Argentina being primarily a Spanish speaking country is connected to the other countries around it that speak Spanish. This means that the culture and traditions Argentina shares are shared with the other primarily Spanish speaking countries in Latin America.
Argentina is different than some of its neighbors, such as Brazil. Brazil is mainly a Portuguese speaking country. West of Argentina is Chile, which is also a Spanish speaking country. Bolivia, located north of Argentina, has five different languages; Spanish, Quechuan, Aymara, Guarani, Leco, and Puquina. So, in some ways Bolivia and Argentina share the same cultures and traditions that are related to the Spanish culture.
