Treatment of Women and minorities
Argentina likes to consider itself a melting pot when it comes to racial background. The government has recently begun to take steps against racial discrimination. Argentina is now starting to consider itself a multiethnic society. Racial statistics say that 97% of Argentinians are European leaving 3% Mestizo, Amerindian, or other non-white groups. One of the problems when dealing with racial discrimination is the lack of adequate information about population, such as the Indigenous people. Argentina's Indigenous people face issues such as; survival, maintenance of culture, land rights, and bilingual education. No actions can really be taken until more valid statistics are in place.

Argentina ranked 24th out of 134 countries in terms of women's access to the same resources and opportunities as men. They have comparable levels of education to men, and higher school enrollment than men. Many Argentine women hold top posts in the Argentine corporate world.
The serious problem women deal with in Argentina is Domestic Violence. Although several attempts have been made to help improve this issue, known have been successful.
